HIPAA/Texas HB300 Group Training
Elmore & Associates, PLLC offers Group Training to medical organizations that are looking to train their workforce on HIPAA/HITECH, the Final Omnibus Rule and Texas House Bill 300, as amended. To set up a group training account, please fill out the form below and you will be emailed a link to get started.
Once you set up your account, you will able to create accounts for all of your attendees. All attendees log in using individual log ins, take the training and upon completion, each person is required to take a short exam. After answering the test questions the attendee will receive an email attachment with their PDF Certificate of Training that identifies the training webinar attended, their name and date of attendance. Each attendee must attest to their attendance by signing the certificate. HIPAA requires that Certificates of Training be retained for 6 years.
All you need to do is provide all attendees with their username/password, have them take the training and sit back and get an email copy as everyone finishes the training. Then retain your training certificates for six (6) years to satisfy your HIPAA retention requirements. It’s as simple as that.
The online training webinars offered by Elmore & Associates, PLLC provide you with a general overview of HIPAA, the various Texas privacy laws that were amended by Texas House B300 and discusses safeguards required to protect the privacy and security of protected health information.
